Role Responsibilities

We are in search of a motivated Technical Sales Consultant to join our team and engage in sales initiatives for our diverse range of products and services throughout the UK.

The successful candidate will be tasked with:

  • Achieving consistent sales objectives and managing sales projects.
  • Formulating strategic sales plans tailored to customer needs.
  • Collaborating with Engineering Managers to identify and take charge of both existing and prospective customer opportunities within the assigned sales region.
  • Engaging with Key Principals and Suppliers regarding the commercial and technical facets of the sales process.
  • Assisting the Engineering Manager and/or Managing Director in the development of annual company budgets.
  • Offering insights and suggestions on new customer and market opportunities, encompassing both technical and commercial aspects.
  • Negotiating terms, preparing quotations, and overseeing customer accounts to meet the requirements of both the client and the organization.
  • Delivering pre-sales technical support and product training, along with after-sales service.
Candidate Profile

The ideal Technical Sales Consultant will possess:

  • A solid technical background in electronic testing equipment.
  • An engineering qualification or equivalent experience in the engineering field.
