About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team at Bright Horizons Family Solutions. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and nutrition to our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present healthy, age-appropriate meals for our children, minimizing food waste and ensuring dietary requirements are met.
  • Lead cookery club sessions, promoting healthy eating and nutrition among our young learners.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to internal and external health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with our nursery team and parents to encourage a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.
  • Manage stock levels, adhering to company procedures and ensuring efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in cooking in a domestic or commercial setting.
  • Passion for nutrition and inspiring healthy eating habits.
  • Food Safety CIEH L2 or above (or equivalent) certification.
  • Sound knowledge of COSHH and managing dietary requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
