About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team at The Cannons Extra Care Scheme in Essex. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling our elderly residents to maintain their independence and live fulfilling lives.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized support to residents with restricted mobility, assisting them with daily activities such as moving to dining areas, communal spaces, and their bedrooms. You will also be responsible for assisting with personal care activities, including washing, personal hygiene, and dressing.
In addition to providing direct care, you will have the opportunity to engage residents in physical and mental stimulation activities, such as recreational and social activities, both individually and in groups. Your goal will be to promote residents' independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering the highest standards of care.
