Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Optimization Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our growing IT infrastructure, ensuring its optimal performance and uptime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Server Management:
    • Administer and maintain HP servers, ensuring their optimal performance and uptime.
    • Perform regular maintenance, firmware updates, and monitor server health.
    • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Virtualization:
    • Deploy, manage, and maintain Windows Server environments via Hyper-V.
    • Monitor and optimize virtual machine performance and manage resource allocation effectively.
    • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions for virtual environments.
  • Network Infrastructure:
    • Manage and configure Cisco switches to optimize network performance and ensure security.
    • Deploy, configure, and maintain Meraki wireless systems, ensuring strong connectivity.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot network traffic and connectivity issues as they arise.
  • Security & Backup:
    • Support firewall configurations to safeguard the network infrastructure.
    • Administer Rubrik backup solutions, ensuring data integrity, secure storage, and easy retrieval.
    • Assist in security audits, reviewing and implementing industry-standard security protocols.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Create and maintain documentation for server configurations, network architecture, and infrastructure changes.
    • Generate regular system performance and security reports.
    • Collaborate with the IT team to create and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Support and Troubleshooting:
    • Skills:
      • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
      • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
      • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
    • Certifications:
      • Relevant certifications like HP ASE, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server are highly desirable but not mandatory.
