Senior Accountant Position Overview

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled and driven Senior Accountant to become part of a modern and innovative accounting firm.

This regional practice is well-regarded and promotes a flexible approach to hybrid working arrangements. The ideal candidate will be a qualified tax accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CA) with a minimum of three years of experience in UK accounting practices.

The successful applicant will enjoy a significant degree of trust and independence, managing a diverse portfolio of general accounting services alongside other relevant teams.

We are looking for a self-assured, technically proficient, and enthusiastic accountant who can oversee the delivery of general accounting services while providing support to junior team members. Over time, the successful candidate may have the opportunity to advance to an Assistant Manager position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and review of statutory accounts and general accounting services, including VAT, bookkeeping, tax, and payroll for a diverse client base.
  • Establishing strong client relationships as a primary point of contact throughout the engagement.
  • Leading a team, serving as a coach and mentor.
  • Managing billing processes.
