We are in search of talented Heat Pump Technicians to install Air Source Heat Pumps, a crucial element in our strategy to achieve Net Zero by 2050. You will bring enthusiasm, expertise, and dedication to our family of innovative brands, including British Gas and Hive. You will collaborate with a team equally committed to achieving outstanding results.

Role Overview

As a Net Zero Technician, you will be part of a small team responsible for the installation of domestic air source heat pumps. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality installations, under the guidance of a Lead Installer who will ensure compliance with regulatory and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Install Air Source Heat Pumps and unvented hot water systems, along with wet central heating systems in residential properties. Dismantle existing heating systems, including tanks and pipework. Install new radiators and valves, ensuring high standards of pipework and boxing. Conduct power flushing and commissioning of new systems alongside the lead installer. Stay updated on all relevant procedures and safety protocols. Prioritize customer satisfaction and uphold the highest standards of service. Provide technical insights to customers interested in low carbon technologies (training will be provided). Tackle technical challenges and work effectively as part of a team. Adhere to stringent health and safety standards, ensuring the safety of yourself, customers, and colleagues.

Required Qualifications:

NVQ level 2 in plumbing or a related field. Water Regulations Qualification. G3 regulations qualification. Valid driving license with 6 points or fewer.
