Fabrication HSE Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication HSE Advisor to collaborate with our clients in the offshore wind space. This is a 1-year contract starting November 1st.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing and managing the HSE strategy and objectives on the supplier's site. Key responsibilities include:

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring Fabrication Suppliers comply with Employer's HSE Requirements according to contract.
  • Planning and conducting supplier and process assessments based on a risk approach.
  • Providing HSE support to the clients' Package and Fabrication Team.
  • Implementing and following up on Supplier HSE Improvements and Assurance/Activity Plan according to the Project Baseline Agreement.
  • Contributing to HSE supplier performance reporting.
  • Communicating and coordinating operational HSE initiatives and interfaces across the organization.
  • Modeling a safety culture that promotes continuous improvements.

The ideal candidate will have:

Requirements:
  • Completed IOSH course or NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction to certificate level or similar.
  • Preferably completed NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction to Diploma Level or similar.
  • At least five years of relevant experience within mature industrial manufacturing, ideally within fabrication.
  • Knowledge of local Health and Safety Regulations required.
  • Valid training required in Work at Height (e.g., li>).
  • Valid medical certificate (to fulfill Fabrication Supplier requirements).
  • Ability to write and speak English fluently is a must, in addition to the local language (if not in the UK).
