Job Title: Health and Safety Apprentice

Irwin M&E Limited is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Health and Safety Apprentice. As a Health and Safety Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting the Health and Safety team in developing and reviewing health and safety management systems, conducting site inspections, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Health and Safety team in developing and reviewing health and safety management systems
  • Conduct site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of health and safety data and compile reports
  • Assist in the development of new policies, systems of work, and method statements
  • Ensure all company compliances are adhered to
Requirements:
  • 5 GCSEs with Maths and English
  • Eager to develop competency and qualifications in HSE
  • Good understanding of Office computer applications
  • Ability to present and deliver information to others at all levels
  • Flexible approach to change
  • Cross-functional interaction
  • Coaching skills
  • Ability and drive to complete Nebosh qualification
