Job Title: Quantitative Risk Analyst

At Venture Up, we are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Risk Analyst to join our team in Oxford. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a crucial role in systematically quantifying risk and explaining market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance existing risk models and scenario testing methodologies to improve risk management across various asset classes.
  • Collaborate with the research and investment team to quantify market risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Automate bespoke reports and visualizations to support data-driven decision making.
  • Manage daily risk control processes and conduct quantitative data investigations to identify potential risks.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Engineering, or Physics.
  • Excellent skills in Python and associated scientific and visualization libraries.
  • Familiarity with financial instruments and their risk metrics.
