Job Title: Automation and Technology Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automation and Technology Engineer to join our team at Automation Experts Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and motivate teams of engineers to deliver high-quality automation projects
  • Collaborate with project managers to identify and mitigate project risks and technical changes
  • Develop and maintain internal standards and practices for continuous improvement and innovation
  • Take ownership of projects from handover to completion, ensuring all activities are completed to a high standard
  • Design and develop software and electrical/control systems for automation projects
  • Organize CAD, manufacturing, testing, dispatch, and commissioning activities
  • Visit customer sites to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Commission automation systems on-site, if required
  • Have a broad automation understanding and the ability to manage projects from software and hardware perspectives
  • Be competent with Rockwell or Siemens packages
  • Have previous experience with industrial drive and control systems, including variable speed drives, PLCs, and SCADA/HMI products
