Job Details:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Traffic and Transportation Systems Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our air traffic control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize faults and direct engineering resources towards a safe and expeditious restoration of service.
  • Brief and coordinate with air traffic control and other engineering staff, supervise airport maintenance engineers and contractors, ensuring compliance with NATS management systems.

Requirements:

  • Engineering qualification to Higher National Certificate (NVQ Level 4) as a minimum in engineering, electronics, telecommunications, or computer science, with relevant experience.
  • Undertaken structured engineering training, such as structured training programs.
  • Background as an engineer in one of the following areas: mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, systems, maintenance, controls, or nuclear.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • ATSEP (Air Traffic Safety Electronic Personnel) qualified (desirable but not required, willing to put the right candidate through the qualification).
