Randstad C&P is partnering with a growing facilities management company to hire a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance of commercial gas systems across various sites in Newcastle upon Tyne.

The Role:

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting routine PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems. This will include performing servicing, maintenance, and minor reactive works on commercial gas systems. You will also respond to emergency call-outs as part of the on-call rota.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and certifications:

  • Commercial Gas Qualifications: TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1.
  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
  • IPAF / PASMA certifications.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.


What We Offer:

Our client offers a competitive salary of up to £40,500 per annum, a 40 hour workweek with opportunities for overtime, a company van and fuel card, and ongoing training and professional development opportunities. You will also receive 30 days annual holidays, including bank holidays.
