Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support for IT systems, ensuring proper usage in both classroom and non-classroom settings.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of computers and audiovisual equipment throughout the institution.
- Collaborate with the Network Manager to coordinate repairs and updates as necessary.
- Perform routine visits to multiple school sites to deliver consistent support and maintenance.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of new technology as required.
- Execute minor repairs and software updates in agreement with the Network Manager.
- Oversee the management of the school's photocopying and printing solutions, maintaining accurate records of supplies.
- Ensure compliance with scheduled tasks and conduct regular inventory checks.
- Monitor and address requests through the school's ticketing system, completing tasks within designated timeframes.
- Manage IT support calls and log issues in the helpdesk system.
- Maintain a shared calendar for the reservation of IT equipment for various events.

Reporting Structure:
- Report daily activities and tasks to the Network Manager, in addition to managing assigned duties from the IT helpdesk.

Technical Setup:
- Set up and configure new computers following established network standards.
- Provide support and maintenance for audiovisual equipment, ensuring readiness for meetings and presentations.

Professional Development:
- Participate in day release training sessions and complete all associated coursework.
- Support the Network Manager and Head of Digital Strategy as needed, while adhering to GDPR and safeguarding protocols.

Qualifications:
- ICT Skills and familiarity with relevant software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (e.g., Windows).
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
