Laboratory Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at Reed Food & FMCG. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for conducting various tests on samples from production, ensuring accurate recording of results, and working alongside the Lab Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct sampling and analysis of raw materials, work in progress, and finished products to verify that materials meet all required quality and functionality parameters.
• Carry out Salmonella testing on various samples.
• Participate in cover for daily laboratory activities as required to ensure laboratory tasks are completed in accordance with deadlines, including participation in QA panels and providing Certificates of Analysis to internal and external customers.

Requirements:

• Experience working in laboratory environments.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
