Neurological Centre Receptionist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bank Receptionist to join our team at Gardens & Jacobs Neurological Centre in Sawbridgeworth. As a key member of our reception team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our centre, providing exceptional customer service to our service users, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they sign the visitor book.
- Maintain the upkeep of the reception area and meeting rooms to ensure they are presentable and welcoming.
- Manage the office diary for meetings, events, training days, and therapy sessions, ensuring all appointments are scheduled efficiently.
- Ensure confidentiality and security are maintained at all times, handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Receive and deal with telephone calls, emails, and post, responding promptly to all inquiries.
- Perform ad hoc administration tasks as required, supporting the smooth operation of the centre.
- Ensure all relevant leaflets and brochures are displayed in the reception area, providing information to service users and visitors.
- Manage deliveries and ensure they are stored securely.
- Previous experience in a reception or administrative role.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people.
- Professional, confident, and diplomatic, with a warm and welcoming personality.
- GCSE English Language Grade C or above.
- Efficient and enthusiastic, with a strong work ethic.
- Awareness of confidentiality and security protocols, with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently, with minimal supervision.
- Welcoming and self-motivated, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- An hourly rate of £12.05, including 12.07% holiday allowance uplift.
- A two-week paid induction, providing comprehensive training and support.
