Job Title: Brain Injury Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide personal care and support to a client in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire. The successful candidate will work on a part-time basis, assisting with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and household chores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with personalized routines to promote independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and medication administration.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance the client's quality of life.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a care or support setting.
  • Ability to deal with challenging behaviors and provide a calm, patient approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with the client and their family.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and understanding nature to provide high-quality care.
  • Flexibility to work the specified hours and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Valid UK driver's license for travel to and from work.
