Join our team at Premier Technical Recruitment as a Field Service Engineer and take on a challenging role that requires a unique blend of technical skills and problem-solving abilities.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for visiting customer sites throughout the South West region of the UK, conducting servicing and general works on special purpose machinery. This includes PPM and servicing, fault finding for breakdowns, diagnosing faults on electrical control panels and hydraulic circuits, and effecting repairs as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct servicing and general works on special purpose machinery
  • Diagnose faults on electrical control panels and hydraulic circuits
  • Effect repairs as required
  • Read electrical and hydraulic circuit drawings
  • Relay technical information accurately and efficiently

Requirements:

  • Proven fabrication, electrical, and welding experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience of building or wiring electrical control panels
  • Hands-on approach with a background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic engineering
  • Welding experience is advantageous
