About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Greggs bakery team. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the bakery in the absence of the Manager
  • Lead and motivate a team of staff to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
  • Ensure the store is clean and well-maintained, and that all equipment is in good working order
  • Prepare and serve food to customers, and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Monitor and control stock levels, and manage inventory effectively
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and improve profitability

Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a retail or hospitality environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
