Audit Director Job Vacancy

We are seeking a seasoned auditor to provide high-level oversight of our thriving audit function.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a high-calibre candidate with a proven track record of leading audits within UK practice.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective communication on all aspects of audit compliance across the firm, reviewing hot and cold audit and assurance files, and identifying new audit guidance and processes.

They will also manage relationships with external audit reviewers, lead liaison with the ICAEW on audit compliance matters, and monitor audit training needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership skills, excellent communication and advisory skills, and a sound attention to detail.

The Successful Candidate
  • A proven track record operating at Audit RI or Audit Senior Manager level within an ICAEW or ACCA registered firm.
  • Technically proficient, with extensive UK external audit experience.
  • Strong leadership skills with good people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills.
  • Sound attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and highly organised.
  • A team player able to bring out the best in others.
  • Constructive mentorship junior team members.
  • Confident in networking, representing the firm in a professional manner.
