Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team at Polytec Personnel Ltd. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing complex mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build mechanical and electrical systems, including devices, machinery, and test systems.
  • Perform electrical wiring to schematics and mechanical build using hand-tools and possibly machine tools.
  • Debug mechanical and electrical operation, and conduct informal testing to own initiative.
  • Contribute to the generation of build documentation and continuous manufacturing process improvements.
  • Design and fabricate assembly and test jigs.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with products or instruments in an R&D setting.
  • At least level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification.
  • Confident and accurate written and verbal communication.
  • Confident using MS Office.
  • Expert user of hand tools, metrology, and test instruments.
  • Expertise in the use of manual mill and lathe would be beneficial.
