Learning Support Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Barking and Dagenham. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with additional learning needs, helping them to adjust to their new settings and develop their self-esteem.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to learners with additional learning needs
  • Help pupils adjust to their new settings and recognize signs of distress
  • Establish and promote supportive relationships with students through role modeling and awareness of individual needs
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
  • A desire to learn and a passion for working with children with additional needs
  • Undergraduate degree from a Top 30 UK University
  • A caring, compassionate, and child-centered approach
What We Offer:
  • Competitive daily rate of up to £105 paid via PAYE on a weekly basis
  • Working hours of between 8:30-16:00, Monday-Friday
