Role Overview

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our field services team, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while promoting our products and services. We welcome candidates with a technical background and a passion for problem-solving, even if you lack direct experience in field engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage service calls, delivering outstanding customer service and contributing positively to regional and national performance metrics.
  • Utilize your expertise to recommend and advise customers on the best hydration solutions during on-site visits.
  • Aim for an industry-leading first-time fix rate by efficiently repairing and servicing all Zip products while adhering to safety and technical standards.
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks in accordance with company protocols.

Essential Skills

  • Technical aptitude with a focus on repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience in face-to-face customer service is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Relevant plumbing or electrical qualifications.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Prior experience in fault diagnostics is beneficial.
  • Willingness to embrace new technologies and innovative solutions as the company evolves.
