About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rates Trading Analyst to join our Treasury Markets team. As a key member of our Rates desk, you will be responsible for managing the pricing and risk execution of trade flows to manage interest rate, volatility, and XCCY for the bank.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a strong knowledge of markets and the drivers of market movements, while keeping abreast of economic data and events that can impact hedging decisions
  • Have exposure to structuring, pricing and execution directly with clients
  • Take ownership of trade lifecycle events such as booking, trade maintenance, unwinds and restructures
  • Be proactively involved in identifying opportunities to improve, simplify and automate our processes
  • Develop analytics on desk to assist risk management decision making
Requirements
  • Numerate, analytical, and detail oriented, with knowledge of financial derivatives
  • Hold a STEM degree or an appropriate analytical qualification
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to traverse between different levels of communication such as technical or non-technical audiences
  • The ability to adapt to a range of projects of varying levels of difficulty and complexity
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience of coding including Python or VBA
