Bath Spa University is seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications and Content Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our communications department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective CRM-based communication strategies to attract and convert applicants across all programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement measurable digital campaigns to enhance Bath Spa University's visibility and drive applicant conversion throughout the student lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with CRM, Marketing, and Admissions teams to optimize conversion through digital platforms.
- Oversee the content calendar, manage content creation, and ensure campaigns align with other online channels.
- Project manage campaigns, working with internal teams and external suppliers to maximize impact within budget.
- Produce evaluation reports to improve future efforts.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, share best practices, and line manage a CRM Coordinator.
- Support one-off projects across the University.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing digital marketing and email campaigns.
- Experience using CRM systems for stakeholder engagement.
- Strong content creation skills for digital channels.
- Excellent project management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in line management and financial acumen.
- Extensive knowledge of social media trends.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a dynamic team environment.
- Experience in higher education and an understanding of UK Higher Education issues are desirable.
