Senior Site Reliability Engineer/DevOps Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer/DevOps Specialist to join our Engineering Platform team at Lloyds Banking Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our next-generation technical platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership during service outages to recover services through incident and problem management
  • Manage DevOps tooling services through the service lifecycle, including risk management and compliance
  • Consult with engineering teams to deliver value through the implementation of robust DevOps solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of DevOps practices and tooling
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code, using tools such as Linux Administration
  • Design and implement monitoring solutions, using tools such as Dynatrace
  • Work closely with the engineering teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer-driven solutions

Requirements:

  • Experience as a SRE, Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar software or cloud role
  • Experience of CI/CD across various tooling and a good understanding of DevOps
  • Programming and scripting experience
  • Monitoring – Dynatrace
  • Infrastructure as Code e.g. Linux Administration
  • ITIL or Service management experience
  • Formal software development experience
  • Agile work practices
  • Software Delivery Lifecycle
