Job Title: Secondary Science Teacher QTS

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Secondary Science Teacher QTS to join our team at Teaching Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging science lessons to secondary school students.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the UK national curriculum for science, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to engage and motivate students, proficiency in classroom management, and a passion for education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging science lessons to secondary school students
  • Create a positive learning environment and assess student progress
  • Provide feedback to support student development and participate in staff meetings
  • Contribute to the overall educational ethos of the school
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
  • Previous experience teaching science at the secondary level is preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent
Working Conditions:

The Secondary Science Teacher QTS will work in a school environment, following the academic calendar and timetable. They may be required to attend meetings outside of regular hours and participate in school events.
