Job Description

**Financial Operations Coordinator**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Goldhawk Associates. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accounting and controlling systems, supporting internal and external audit, and providing assistance to Management Accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update accounting and controlling systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support internal and external audit processes to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide assistance to Management Accountants in financial planning and analysis.
  • Maintain and update purchase and sales ledgers to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Review and reconcile creditors and debtors accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Coordinate with the Finance Assistant (Bank) to ensure timely payment runs and preparation of financial reports.
  • Conduct credit control procedures to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
  • Process employee expenses and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Support commercial procurement processes to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as required by the Head of Finance.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the team.
  • Experience in accounting procedures and financial operations.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Sage 200.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve financial goals.
