About the Opportunity

Are you an experienced Engineering Instructor seeking a fulfilling role in education? This is a unique chance to join a reputable Further Education institution in the Devon area, dedicated to nurturing the next generation of mechanical engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lessons to Level 2-3 students and apprentices in both classroom and workshop settings.
  • Support students in achieving their academic and vocational goals.
Candidate Profile

While prior teaching experience and qualifications are advantageous, we welcome applications from motivated professionals in the engineering sector who are eager to share their expertise in an educational context. The institution is committed to providing comprehensive training and will assist successful candidates in obtaining their Level 3 teaching certificate.

Essential Qualifications
  • Level 3 or higher in an Engineering-related discipline.
  • Willingness to undergo an ENHANCED DBS check.
  • Proficiency in bench-fitting and CAD.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and knowledge transfer.
  • Commitment to pursuing a teaching or assessing qualification within two years (support provided).
