Financial Paraplanner

Eden Scott is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our wealth management firm, you will play a vital role in supporting our Financial Advisers and contributing to the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of Suitability Reports: You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive suitability reports for our clients, ensuring that all necessary information is gathered and presented in a clear and concise manner.
- Liaising with Product Providers: You will work closely with product providers to collate pension and investment information for replacement contracts, ensuring that all necessary documentation is obtained and processed efficiently.
- Technical Support and Research: You will provide technical support to the team, assisting with paraplanning and research tasks, and contributing to the development of new ideas and initiatives.
- Market Research and Due Diligence: You will conduct market research on behalf of our Financial Advisers, gathering information on investment opportunities and assisting with due diligence reviews of investment funds and platforms.
- Support to Financial Advisers: You will provide administrative support to our Financial Advisers, ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a strong background in paraplanning, with experience in pensions and investments. You will also need to have excellent report writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner. Experience of using research tools such as FE Analytics and knowledge of Intelligent Office or Xplan would be advantageous.
