As a key member of our research team, you will contribute to a large-scale secondary data analysis of data from the 2019, 2021, and 2023 World Risk Polls to better understand weather risk perception and preparedness across countries.

Your primary responsibility will be to work with the project PI and CO-Is to develop and test weather risk communication strategies in different focal countries. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other members of the research team to use the findings of this analysis to develop and test weather risk communication strategies with large samples in a series of 4-5 focal countries recruited through market research companies.

The Centre for Decision Research is a leading research centre that covers analytical and psychological aspects of decision making. Our research builds on basic and applied approaches to understand and support real-world decisions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Conduct a multi-level analysis of data from the world risk polls
* Work with the project PI and CO-Is to develop and test weather risk communication strategies in different focal countries

**Requirements:**

* PhD in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, sociology, communication studies)
* Strong research skills and experience with data analysis
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
