Job Title: Area Manager

As an Area Manager with RSPB, you will play a crucial role in leading a dispersed team of Fundraisers in the West Midlands region. Your primary responsibility will be to provide in-person support visits, one-on-one meetings, and virtual meetings to ensure the team is equipped to uphold the organization's standards, code of conduct, values, and brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example during support visits to ensure Fundraisers adhere to RSPB's standards and code of conduct.
  • Conduct at least one monthly recruiting shift with each team member, providing valuable feedback and following up on individual action plans.
  • Work closely with your line manager to report on progress, performance, and team leadership.
  • Build effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including F2F Area Manager peers, Membership Venues Team, Employee Recruitment Advisors, and local RSPB nature reserve staff.
  • Recruit, select, and induct new team members, and deliver best practice training to build their capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of Fundraising Standards.
  • A full driving licence that is valid in the UK.
