About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CI Facilitator to join our team at Fox's Burton's Companies. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering step-change improvement projects aligned with our Operations Reliability plan.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the site Bakery Manager and off-site C.I Manager to develop and implement C.I initiatives, applying CI tools and structured methodology to drive targets set by the Bakery & Group Operations Manager.
  • Support the delivery of financial budget aligned with the delivery of KPI's (waste, TOS, efficiency, machine uptime, planned tonnage and accidents).
  • Leverage and develop site capability on CI tools and techniques (Lean Six-sigma, Kaizen, SMED, 5S, Line-balancing, Centrelines).
  • Support the maintenance and drive improvements in our bakery OEE performance management system.
  • Embed site values as part of the Dorset Improvement Strategy.
  • Demonstrate Health and Safety adherence and cultural behaviours to support site culture of driving improvement in this area.
  • Supporting and delivering training to colleagues as required.
  • Ensure Food Safety, Integrity, Quality and legality are maintained within the Business.
Requirements
  • Lean Six-sigma green belt or similar relevant qualification - essential.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience/ graduate calibre or formal qualification or experience in manufacturing excellence.
  • Level 2 Food Safety/Hygiene qualification preferred.
  • Clear understanding and application of continuous improvement tools and techniques, in particular DMAIC, SMED, 5S, Centre Lining, SIC, Kaizen and Line Balancing.
  • Experience working with production overall Equipment Effectiveness software systems.
  • Experience in analysing and presenting reports.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an FMCG environment.
  • Can demonstrate an ability to think strategically to enhance site/cultural performance.
  • Financial awareness.
  • Sound working knowledge or qualification in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
