Clinical Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Oncologist to join our team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our comprehensive cancer service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cancer services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a comprehensive service in Oncology with consultant colleagues, including new patient and follow-up clinics.
- Provision of emergency cover and reciprocal cover for consultant colleagues during reasonable periods of leave.
- Care of patients in their charge and for the proper functioning of the Department.
- Undertaking teaching/training duties as required and actively participating in postgraduate and undergraduate teaching programmes.
- Participating in clinical and medical audit and actively contributing in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance.
- Actively participating in continuing medical education (CME).
