Job Description

As a Food Technical Coordinator at Focus Management Consultants, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of food products in the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain raw material specifications to meet supplier-facing requirements.
  • Participate in external auditing to ensure compliance with UK retailers' codes of practice and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to identify and mitigate food safety risks and allergens.
  • Travel to audit suppliers and maintain a full UK driving licence.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in a supplier-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of UK retailers' codes of practice and quality standards.
  • Awareness of food safety risks and allergens.
