Role Overview:

In the capacity of a Desktop Support Engineer, you will deliver first-line technical assistance to our clients, both remotely and in-person.

Your responsibilities will include addressing hardware and software challenges, ensuring peak system functionality, and providing exemplary customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical assistance to users via phone, email, and remote access.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software challenges. (Desktop/Network/Security)
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software. (Intune)
  • Aid in the deployment and setup of desktop computers and peripherals.
  • Record and monitor all support incidents and their resolutions.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.
  • Keep a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Provide on-site support as required.


Qualifications:


  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • A valid driving license is necessary for on-site support.

  • Experience in IT support or help desk environments.
  • Familiarity with common IT applications and software.
  • IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+).
