Assistant General Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at ABC Hospitality Enterprise. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant and bar.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the General Manager in managing the restaurant's operations, including staff supervision, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer experience, including ambiance, quality of food and service, and staff training.
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, including labor costs, sales, and profit margins.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff, including management team members.
  • Liaise with the General Manager, owners, and Head Chef to develop new menus and improve kitchen operations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and other guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy environment for customers and staff.
Requirements:
  • At least two years' experience in a senior management role in a restaurant or bar environment.
  • Proven track record of people management and customer service excellence.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
  • Impeccable time management and organizational skills.
