Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Global Accounting Manager to join our small, friendly team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position will have four direct reports and responsibility for day-to-day accounting activities in all seven Anitox business entities. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering general accounting tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bank and cash accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations
- Oversee the nominal ledger, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Coordinate Concur and Travel expenses, ensuring accurate and timely processing
- Manage the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing
- Oversee fixed assets and capital improvements, ensuring accurate and timely recording
- Lead month-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Coordinate annual audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage taxes, ensuring accurate and timely compliance
- Oversee payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a similar role within private industry
- Proven track record in delivering accounting tasks in a timely and accurate manner
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Knowledge of Excel to intermediate/advanced level (pivot tables, look-ups)
- Payroll and working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now (or equivalent system)
- Experience working for a global business is an advantage, as is a CIMA accounting qualification or equivalent
Working Arrangements:
Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Flexible working arrangements are available, including up to 2 days per week working from home.
