Job Description

Consult is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a globally leading pharmaceutical company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing corrective and preventative maintenance of all mechanical equipment on site, ensuring the reliable and safe operation of the manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effective preventative maintenance of process, utility, and facility equipment and systems
  • Fault finding and problem solving on mechanical systems to minimize business impact
  • Identify and implement improvements in mechanical systems
  • Implement installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment
  • Work as part of a team to maintain the site to a safe and reliable standard, sharing skills and expertise to ensure efficient and effective maintenance service
Requirements:
  • Recognized training to City & Guilds standard or NVQ Level 3 in engineering
  • Demonstratable experience in mechanical installation and fault finding
  • Experience of working with steam plant and an understanding of pressure systems regulations
  • Ability to work without supervision but also as a member of the engineering team
  • Flexible and able to work on a 24/7 on-call rota

What We Offer: A competitive salary, 5% bonus, £400 on-call bonus (1 in 9 weeks), overtime, and Monday to Friday day shifts.
