About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Female Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

As a Female Security Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing a warm and welcoming experience while maintaining a high level of security and vigilance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting regular patrols of designated areas to detect and deter suspicious activity
  • Performing thorough searches of individuals and vehicles, following company policies and procedures
  • Inspecting baggage and identifying prohibited or suspicious items
  • Maintaining accurate records and completing necessary paperwork related to security incidents and observations
  • Providing exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and guests

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year history including education and/or employment
  • A driving licence and access to your own vehicle (or live close to site and be able to get there within a reasonable commute)
  • Embracing flexibility to work early and late shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
  • A friendly and professional approach to create a welcoming atmosphere
  • Physical capability to perform body and cab searches, including climbing into and out of lorry cabs
