Job Title: Cash Equities Quantitative Analyst, Vice President

This role sits within the Central Risk team, which plays a crucial part in optimizing execution and risk across Citi's Equities franchise. As a Cash Equities Quantitative Analyst, Vice President, you will be responsible for the research, design, implementation, and maintenance of systematic trading components, including our Systematic Internalizer (SI), portfolio optimizer/hedger, as well as analytics, estimators, and signals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms for risk management and trading optimization
  • Design and implement data processing and analytics pipelines using various programming languages and libraries
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective risk management and trading strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and risk management
  • Develop and maintain documentation for trading components and risk management models
Requirements:
  • Master's or PhD in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as KDB/q, Java, C++, or Python
  • Experience with data processing and analytics libraries such as Numpy, Pandas
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in KDB+/q
  • Knowledge of the equity market microstructure, liquidity landscape, risk management, or trade execution algorithms
  • Understanding of modern portfolio theory and quantitative risk management techniques
  • Familiarity with central risk platforms and their integration with trading systems
