Fire Safety Consultant needed to join a leading Fire Safety Advisory firm, offering expertise throughout the entire lifecycle of constructed assets, including design evaluation, fire safety strategies, corrective measures, and quality assurance.
Collaborating closely with clients from various sectors such as commercial, educational, governmental, retail, and residential, you will provide guidance on fire safety issues that emerge during the project lifecycle while ensuring compliance with legal obligations.
This position is a hybrid role primarily focused in the Midlands, with a connection to the Birmingham office.
This role presents a fantastic opportunity for you to take charge of delivering fire safety consultancy services within an established team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing Fire Safety Strategies in accordance with Approved Document B, BS9999, BS9991, and BS7974
- Conducting CFD Fire and evacuation modeling utilizing Smartfire and Building Exodus
- Performing Compartment Surveys
- Ensuring adherence to health, safety, environmental, security, and quality standards
- Carrying out fire risk assessments across diverse property types
- Providing fire engineering support throughout project delivery
- Executing components of fire engineering projects under the guidance of senior staff members
Qualifications:
- BSc or MSc in Fire Engineering
- Comprehensive understanding of UK fire safety regulations
- Proven ability to lead and manage intricate projects proactively and diligently
