About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at Hovis Ltd. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, quality, and legality of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to the technical department to maintain safety, quality, and legality of products.
  • Work with Site Technical and Operations teams to ensure efficient production of safe and legal food.
  • Carry out internal audits and routine Food Safety inspections.
  • Manage Product quality Standards, from identifying quality standards to ensuring the factory implements them.
  • Arrange sample collection and despatch – Finished Product, Raw Materials and Micro.
  • Manage raw materials and packaging documentation.
  • Deliver continuous improvement of both product quality and standards on site.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of food legislation and food safety principles.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal and must be computer literate.
  • Committed to incorporating the Hovis values of Quality, Accountability, and Trust in day-to-day functions.
  • Experience of working in a Food manufacturing environment.
