We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead our Retrofit Team in the Environment Directorate. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team delivering over £100m of housing retrofit measures to help meet the targets in the Greater Manchester 5-year Environment Plan and Retrofit Action Plan.
Key Responsibilities- Programme manage the delivery of major government funded schemes, such as the Local Energy Advice Demonstrator (LEAD), Energy Company Obligation (ECO), Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF), and the Domestic Retrofit Scale Up with Devolution work package of the Local Net Zero Accelerator (LNZA).
- Work closely with government departments, local authorities, registered providers of social housing, contractors, and a wide range of local partners to deliver the programme.
- Ensure that the programme is successfully commissioned, implemented, and delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the programme's success.
- Experience of leading a programme delivery team.
- Significant knowledge of ECO and SHDF funding, including the regulatory requirements of Ofgem and the audit requirements of Salix Finance.
- Extensive experience of housing retrofit, including the technical requirements of PAS2035, PAS2030, MCS, and TrustMark.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
