About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our team at Rubber Duck Cars. As a MET Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks, including:
- Performing mechanical and bodywork repairs on allocated vehicles.
- Dismantling vehicles for panel shop preparation.
- Conducting inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work.
- Ordering replacement parts and reassembling vehicles to pre-accident condition.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Excellent time management skills to ensure vehicles are ready to agreed-upon timescales.
- The ability to work skillfully and safely under pressure.
- Knowledge of manufacturers' specifications and the ability to work accordingly.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility and adaptability in your approach.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality work with customer satisfaction in mind.
- A focus on health and safety, adhering to our guidelines and wearing provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience as a MET in a Bodyshop environment or be a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician looking to transition into a bodyshop role.
