This position is integral to the budget tool project team, contributing to all phases of budget tool deployment.

As we strive to modernize the functions of Business Professionals, our aim is to boost efficiency and effectiveness in delivering client services. The scope of this role is dynamic and continually evolving, necessitating a flexible mindset and a proactive approach. Given the diverse locations of stakeholders, some adaptability in working hours is anticipated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively support Alliances, Offices, Function Leaders, Global Process Owners, Service Owners, and their respective Project Managers in achieving their financial goals, identifying significant deviations from the plan, and collaborating with all parties to agree on corrective actions.
  • Deliver timely and precise financial information to ensure Functions remain aligned with budgetary expectations, providing insightful analysis of actual performance.
  • Extend ongoing support to Finance leaders within our Service Centres, local offices, and regional Finance leadership as necessary, ensuring prompt responses to internal and external inquiries.
  • Oversee the accurate preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and regular monthly reports, including a comparison of actual results against budget for the assigned Alliance, Office, and PBS function, while also providing coverage for other team members as needed.

Essential Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

Skills and Experience:

  • A relevant undergraduate degree (preferably with a 2:1 classification or higher)
  • Newly Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Experience in a finance-related role
  • In-depth knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Familiarity with financial systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to senior management, complemented by a personable and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to engage confidently with various stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to analyze and interpret data effectively.
  • Proven ability to cultivate relationships across different business areas.
  • A willingness to learn and a drive to advance initiatives.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • A strong analytical mindset, comfortable working with numbers.
  • Capability to meet tight deadlines.
