Job Description

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design packages and projects for new highway schemes, maintenance, and assessment works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage individual design packages and entire projects, ensuring timely and profitable delivery in accordance with Atkins' quality assurance systems.
  • Support project resourcing and financial control to ensure schemes are delivered profitably and to programme.
  • Develop and agree scopes, manage the internal technical supply chain, and deliver within set time, budget, and quality parameters.
  • Manage stakeholders, including specialist suppliers, independent checkers, and local authorities, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across engineering disciplines to deliver projects that meet client needs.
Requirements
  • BEng / MEng or MSc degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience working with key clients, such as National Highways, Local Authorities, and major Contractors.
  • Excellent project management skills, commercial awareness, financial control, and ability to deliver across a range of contract types.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to converse with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
