Senior Mammographer Job Description

Cleveland Clinic London is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mammographer to join our Imaging Team. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary range.

Main Responsibilities
  • Monitor and evaluate departmental operations, acting as a liaison internally and externally.
  • Provide direct patient care in specialty areas, working flexible hours and participating in shifts, skill mix, and on-call rotations.
  • Undertake relevant training and competency assessments, adhering to protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure patient safety and adhere to Health & Safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Manage patient flow and prioritize workload according to clinical needs.
Requirements
  • Current valid HCPC registration required.
  • Relevant post-graduate experience with a post-DCR in Mammography from a HCPC-recognised institute required.
  • Knowledge of processes and procedures in Radiography and Mammography.
Person Specification
  • Highly developed specialist Diagnostic Radiology knowledge, underpinned by theory and experience.
  • Relevant personal history of continuing professional development.
  • Understanding of radiographic equipment and imaging procedures.

This role requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work autonomously. Excellent oral and written communication, organisational, and time management skills are essential. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate competency in IT systems and software.
