We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Consultant to join our team at Jayco Recruitment. As a Project Management Consultant, you will be responsible for leading projects delivered by our company and overseeing all aspects of service delivery from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Project Leadership: Manage and lead projects across various sectors, including Housing, Education, and Local Government.
- Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with internal quality and project management procedures, including reporting, change control, risk management, and gateway approvals.
- Program Development: Develop programs using Microsoft Project.
- Financial Management: Manage own commissions and lead on major project management commissions.
- Contract Administration: Prepare contracts for commissions and provide Employer's Agent/Contract Administrator services.
- Client Satisfaction: Ensure client objectives are met and projects are delivered to time and cost targets and quality standards.
- Team Management: Manage and coordinate other consultants and contractors as required.
- Business Development: Carry out business development and marketing activities to support company growth.
- Tender Support: Support in preparation of tenders.
- Brand Awareness: Support in developing brand awareness through social media and networking.
- Mentoring: Carry out mentoring of junior/graduate staff.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a construction-related organization.
- Track Record: Proven track record of managing own successful projects in the construction industry.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of Design & Build, warranties, and agreement for leases.
- Team Management: Team management experience.
- Client Facing: Excellent client-facing skills.
- Project Cycle: Experience of the whole project cycle, able to operate in the initial conceptual design stage and at each design in between.
- Risk Management: Experience managing and able to demonstrate steps to mitigate risk.
- Microsoft Skills: Confidence in the use of all Microsoft applications, including Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to prepare and analyze detailed reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Degree Education: Degree educated in an appropriate field of study.
- Professional Development: Demonstration of significant commitment towards personal professional development.
- Track Record: A candidate not possessing the qualifications listed above but with a substantial and clearly established track record of success in a relevant field may also be considered.
- Driving License: Must have a driving license and have access to own car.
