Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the sales ledger, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer payments, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise sales invoices and issue pro-formas to customers in a timely manner.
  • Post and allocate cash receipts to the correct customer accounts.
  • Set up customer accounts on the system and create digital invoices using web portals.
  • Send monthly statements to customers.
  • Resolve customer and internal queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Cover other duties as required, such as purchase ledger and general administration.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in accounts receivable, sales ledger, or credit control, preferably with exposure to other areas of accounting.
  • Understanding of shipping requirements around the world.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with strong spoken and written English.
  • Positive, proactive, and 'can-do' attitude, with excellent organizational skills and a willingness to assist with whatever is required.
  • Knowledge of at least one major ERP system (ideally SAP) and intermediate Excel skills (formulas and lookups).
  • Relevant degree or AAT studies (desirable).
