The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting visual inspections of welded joints and structures to ensure compliance with welding specifications, codes, and standards. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting thorough inspections of welded joints and structures
  2. Maintaining accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality documentation
  3. Preparing detailed reports outlining inspection findings, deviations from standards, and recommendations for corrective actions
  4. Assisting with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities
  5. Promoting a culture of safety and adherence to safety protocols in all welding activities
  6. Identifying potential safety hazards and taking proactive measures to mitigate risks
Requirements
  • Qualified to CSWIP 3.0 Minimum
  • Time-served Welder/Fabricator
  • Familiarity with Structural Materials
